Movement Guide
How the NH35 Works
The NH35 is a self-winding automatic movement that stores energy through the natural motion of your wrist. An internal rotor gradually winds the mainspring, and the movement can also be manually wound via the crown.
Using & Adjusting the NH35
Manual Winding
With the crown in its normal position, rotate it clockwise approximately 30–40 turns to build a stable reserve. This is recommended if the watch has stopped or hasn’t been worn recently.
Tip: You do not need to “over-wind” an automatic movement—once fully charged, additional winding won’t force damage.
Date Adjustment
Pull the crown to the first click and rotate to set the date. To protect the mechanism, avoid changing the date between 9 PM and 3 AM.
Time Adjustment
Pull the crown to the second click to set the time. For best accuracy, set the time forward to your reference time, then gently return to align precisely if needed.
Performance & Accuracy
Power Reserve
A fully wound NH35 typically provides around 41 hours of power reserve. For consistent performance, keep the watch regularly worn or manually wind it before use.
Accuracy Expectations
Mechanical movements naturally vary depending on position, temperature, and wear habits. Daily variance is normal for automatic watches.
If your watch is running unusually fast/slow, ensure it has adequate reserve first. If the issue persists, contact Client Services and include your order number.
Care & Ownership
Crown Handling
Always ensure the crown is fully secured after adjustment. If your watch uses a screw-down crown, press in gently and tighten until snug—do not overtighten.
Water Resistance
Water resistance is not permanent and depends on seals, crown position, and wear. Avoid operating the crown when the watch is wet. For swimming or water exposure, follow the guidance on the specific product page.
Servicing
To maintain reliability, we recommend professional servicing every 3–5 years depending on usage. Regular servicing supports longevity, performance, and seal integrity.
